Balancing the direct market with Kickstarter

For several years, I had been publishing my books through Kickstarter campaigns, but lately all of my attention has been on bringing Bullet Adventures to the direct market. While that won’t be changing any time soon, I will be diving back into crowdfunding with a new project launching next month: Frost Bitten.

It’s actually not entirely new, as it’s a re-named and re-tooled version of a book previously published by Scout Comics. This gives me an opportunity to reach a whole new audience, and share the story with a more appropriate title that I feel comfortable using.

In Bullet news, Bullet Adventures #3 hit shelves TODAY. This issue introduces my favourite villain, Cupid! It also features the most incredible page, from concept to execution, which only comics could do! Be sure to grab a copy to see what I’m talking about.
