Conflicting interests...
Back when I was only doing Kickstarters, it was very serialized. Run a campaign, get the book printed, and then ship the rewards out. Start again.
But Frost Bitten is the first project I’ve crowdfunded in a while, and at the same time, I’ve got Bullet Adventures coming out in the direct market. I’m bad enough at marketing my books, but with all of my attention on the Kickstarter lately, I’ve completely neglected the Final Order Cutoff for Bullet Adventures #5!
The FOC is tomorrow!
This one is the start of a brand new arc (and if you haven’t already, you can request the first trade to catch up ahead of it - that one hits shelves one month from today!)

Then of course head back to Kickstarter to support Frost Bitten! We’ve had a good start to the campaign, smashing past the funding goal in less than 24 hours, and more than doubling that so far. That puts us at almost exactly half of my highest performing Kickstarter, which was the dual release of Bullet Adventures issues 2 and 3. I’d love to see this one set a new personal best!
The great thing about backing is that it opens up the entire Altruist Comics catalogue. I’ve even added a “shopping bag” tier so you can choose other books, even if you have no interest in Frost Bitten (hey, maybe horror isn’t your thing). Along with past titles, you can even get trading cards, enamel pins, and t-shirts galore!

I’ve also JUST announced a stretch goal to upgrade all print copies of Frost Bitten to perfect bound once we hit $3500. While Bullet is perfect with the classic comic staples, this hefty 48 page book will look great on the shelf with square binding!
