Happy Canada Day!
Happy Canada Day for those north of the 49th. It’s fitting, as this week I travelled back and forth across the country, visiting the Greater Toronto Area for the first time. The family spent a day at Niagara Falls and it was pretty cool to see the raw power of nature (and then kind of hectic as there was an incident where a man was pulled out of the water, rescued at the shoreline and then taken off on a boat via stretcher!!!). We also took in a Blue Jays game, because of course a day away from the ballpark means going to a ballpark…
Waiting for my flight back, I dealt with some last few things for the holofoil variant cover of For the Love of Comics! (which should be a thing of beauty - and still available via late pledge HERE). I’m super excited to have this book out, as it’s the most personal thing I’ve done in a while and includes a long gestating story idea that features my kids (so long, in fact, that I drew them at least five years younger than they are now).
I haven’t been able to find it locally, but apparently Bullet Adventures Volume 1: Greatest of All Time should be available to libraries digitally via Hoopla (courtesy of Aggregate Ink). Even if you’ve read it already, it would be great if you requested/checked this out from your local library, as it does help with circulation and I’m all about getting the series in front of more readers.
Finally, I wanted to direct your attention to an interview Jordan and I did, which highlighted Bullet Adventures on Collectors Confessions. There’s a teaser below

For those of you south of the border, have a safe and enjoyable 4th!
